Story Studio is Puzzly's AI book-writing studio. You answer a short intake (genre, audience, premise), and the studio guides you through three stages: a Story Bible (characters, world, voice), a chapter-by-chapter Plot Outline, and full chapter drafts you can edit in a rich text editor. Built for four book types: kids picture books, YA novels, adult fiction, and non-fiction (guidebooks, motivational, life-skills). Non-fiction draws on live web research so chapters cite real case studies and current data.
Can I edit the AI's output, or do I just take what it gives me?
You edit everything. The Story Bible, the outline, and every chapter are versioned — your edits create a new version while every prior version stays preserved. You can re-generate any chapter — the first retry per chapter costs no extra credits, additional retries cost 100 credits each — and run a final tone pass over the whole book. Export to DOCX or PDF when you're ready.
